The Tomahawk takes the role of Modern Warfare 2's Throwing Knife, as a projectile that can be selected in place of an offensive grenade. The Tomahawk is a quick-moving axe. Like the melee knife, the Tomahawk is a one hit kill, regardless of where it makes contact. When thrown it can be picked up and reused an infinite number of times, regardless of where it lands. The challenging part of reusing a Tomahawk is finding it, however. When thrown against a solid surface, such as a wall, the Tomahawk will bounce, potentially rebounding and getting an incredibly lucky kill on an enemy.
