The HK21 is a German 7.62mm general purpose machine gun developed in 1961 by H&K, and it was based on the G3 battle rifle and is actually close to a 48% parts interchangeability with it. There are many different variations of this machine gun, including 50 round drum magazines or belt feed mechanisms. In Black Ops' multiplayer mode however, it only has 30 round magazine.
