Information
Classified - Anti-personnel explosive grenade.
The M67 is a fragmentation hand grenade, the replacement of the M61 used in the Vietnam war. The reason why we confirmed this grenade to be the M67 and not the more obvious (in that time era) M61 is because it looks like a perfect sphere on in the confirmation image. The M61 that was used in Vietnam is a much longer and larger grenade, with a very distinctive shape.
When the explosives inside of the grenade are ignited after 4 seconds of throwing it, the grenade casing can a casualty radius of 15 meters, with a fatality radius of 5 meters. On average, soldiers can throw this hand grenade for about 30 meters, which makes the average effective range about 35-40 meters.
This grenade has previously been used in both CoD4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. Now it is confirmed to be back in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
